What an event! It was overwhelming to see so many old friends from undergrad, and to have a taste of the recklessly irreverent lifestyle that was all too usual once upon a time.

It was eye-opening to be around people i felt a common connection to; to have easy friendly, familiar conversations. and good talks.

We went swimming in the gulf overnight. Both nights. There were no sharks.

But there was back-pack sized bug-spray container and applicator full of grain alcohol punch.
